Installing on Windows

This test version is not signed yet, so Windows asks for confirmation:

  1. If your browser warns about the file, choose Keep.
  2. When you start it and see "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.

Starting on Linux
  1. Make the file executable: chmod +x ishanga-portal-*.AppImage
  2. AppImages need FUSE 2. If it does not start, install it:
    • Fedora: sudo dnf install fuse-libs
    • Ubuntu 22.04: sudo apt install libfuse2
    • Ubuntu 24.04 and newer: sudo apt install libfuse2t64

Or start it without installing anything: ./ishanga-portal-*.AppImage --appimage-extract-and-run
